Luweero International University’s Outreach Program connects the university with communities in Luweero District and surrounding areas. The program uses education, practical training and community engagement to support people with knowledge and skills that can improve their livelihoods and wellbeing.

Our outreach work focuses on education, health, financial literacy, production and entrepreneurship. Through these areas, the university seeks to respond to community needs while giving students and staff opportunities to participate in activities that have a direct social impact.

Who We Serve

The program focuses on rural communities in Luweero District and surrounding areas. Particular attention is given to women, youth and people with disabilities, as well as local leaders, community development workers and educators. By working directly with communities, LIU can better understand local needs and develop outreach activities that respond to the challenges people face.

Education and Skills Development

Education is a key part of the outreach program.
